Founded by Norberto Jaeger in 1946, Companhia Minuano de Alimentos emerged as a small paper packaging and typography factory, changing branches in 1955, entering poultry farming. In the 1970s, it became one of the largest poultry meat producing companies in Brazil, and participated in the founding of the Brazilian Association of Chicken Producers and Exporters (Abef), which would become the Brazilian Poultry Union (Ubabef) in 2010, consolidating itself as a reference for the sector at a national level. In 1984, Minuano acquired a sausage factory in Arroio do Meio, supplied with raw material from the poultry slaughtering units of integrated producers, and expanded its operations within the food segment. Currently, Minuano is a vertical operation in poultry integration, ranging from breeder farms to poultry production and slaughter, ensuring quality in each part of the process. The industrial park is made up of seven units, including the Refrigerated Slaughterhouse, Sausage Factory, Hatchery, Breeding Farms, Feed Factory and Administrative Center. With its poultry operations focused on providing services to third parties, the company moves towards producing and delivering quality food, focusing its energy on the sausage production operation, reaffirming the strength of its image and recognition among consumers . The Company exports to more than 30 countries, on four continents. In the domestic market, there are almost 30 items making up the Mix, which can be found throughout the state of Rio Grande do Sul, reaffirming the brand's relationship with the people of Rio Grande do Sul.
